Sioux Empire Baseball Association

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information & sign up for participation in your High Schools Tryout Process.  Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately. To complete registration there is a payment of $680. There is no longer a required uniform deposit because participants keep their jerseys annually (As of 2025). Payment will be able to be made via Credit Card or Family Fundraising Account. If utilizing your family fundraising account, please reach out to the SEBA Office at info@siouxempirebaseball.org prior to beginning your registration so that you can be given a code to utilize at checkout.

Registration & Payment is due by January 31st.  All athletes planning on participating in January Morning Captain's Practices will need to be registered by December 31st.

Registrations received on or after February 1st will have a $25 late fee and will be allowed on space availability.

If your player is not placed on a High School Team a refund of $600 will be issued the Monday following the rostering deadline.

This Spring, Sioux Empire Baseball Association in conjunction with the Sioux Falls School District and Bishop O'Gorman High School will again present High School Club Baseball. Tryouts will be conducted by each High School's Baseball Coaches for eligible athletes (Grades 9 through 12) interested in playing on their Sioux Falls High School Baseball Team. PROGRAM OVERVIEW: 

Maximum Players per program/School: 54

Optional Captain's Practice begins: Week of January 5th

Mandatory Tryout Practices begin: March 2nd, 2026
Athletes who are completing their Winter Sport will join tryout practices following the completion of their season.

Roster Deadline Date: March 16th, 2026
This deadline is regarding program cuts, not which team a player will be placed on within their program.

Home Game Start Date: March 30th
Games may be played earlier than this date in Kansas and Rapid City, SD.

Varsity Scheduling Information
Regular Season Information:
25 to 30 Scheduled Games, Home Games at Augustana University, Sanford Sports Complex, and Harmodon Park

Post-Season Information:
Regional Tournament - May 14th through May 16th - Best 2 of 3 (Top 8 Seeds Host)
State Tournament - May 22nd and May 23rd - Single Elimination (Location TBD)

Sub-Varsity Scheduling Information
Regular Season Information:
20 to 25 Scheduled Games, Home Games at Harmodon Park and Sanford Sports Complex

Post-Season Information:
End of Year Tournament - May 8th and May 9th - Sioux Falls Metro

If registration numbers allow, each program will field a varsity and two sub-varsity teams.
